TINUBU FCT YOUTH FOUNDATION MEETING

Good morning everyone,

Esteemed friends, it is an honour to welcome you to our family meeting today, Tinubu FCT Youth Foundation

Let me begin by expressing my gratitude to everyone who has contributed in one way or the other to make this event a success. Your hard work and dedication are deeply appreciated.

We gather here today 2th of August 2025 to pledge our support and allegiance to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu (G.C.F.R)

We embark on this journey together with a shared purpose and common goal: TO ENSURE TOTAL VICTORY FOR MR. PRESIDENT IN THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY, COME 2027. And, this productive engagement with concerned youths in the FCT is the key to our overall success.

I pause to ask us, how do you know a government that is ready to work, how do you know a government that is committed to ensuring her citizens’ development and progress?

One of the greatest philosophers (Socrates)once said, and I quote, “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not in fighting the old but on building the new.”

 

Ladies and gentlemen, President Tinubu has shown commitment and capacity not in fighting the old even as horrible as it was but in building a new envisioned Nigeria that is prosperous, equitable, secure and safe, with more opportunities for personal and national development.

Having stabilized the macro economics variables of our economy, some of Mr. President’s fiscal interventions, the micro-economics, with sustainable features so far rolled out for the benefits of our peoples includes, nearly double of the monthly allocations to the States; the creation, with take-off grants, of regional development commissions in the 6 geopolitical zones; the local government autonomy; youth empowerment programs; single digit interest- long tenured mortgage loans; students loan; economic development, quality education, jobs creation; among others, and as well as a government that is responsive and accountable to the needs of its citizens- all of these within two years.

Fellow Compatriots, we are clearly not where we ought to be, as a Nation and as a people. However certainly, we are not where we used to be.

We have found a man whose vision aligns with our vision, and we will not therefore allow ourselves to be misled by so many false prophets who go about preaching the gospel of rebuilding the broken temples. We are joining hands with Mr. President to build a Renewed Nigeria.  

We have set our vision on a Nigeria where our youths lead with integrity; empowered with leadership qualities, platforms and opportunities to drive transformative change, even as seen today.

A Nigeria where our youths will embark on impactful advocacy and sensitization missions that cultivate awareness, re-awake critical thinking and are equipped to effectively address contemporary realities and global challenges.

A Nigeria where we will not just eat and spare but export for a robust economic development.

In conclusion I leave you with the word of John in the Revelation chapter 5:5 and I read:

And one of the elders said unto me weep not: Behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, Hath prevailed to open the book, and to lose the seven seals thereof.

I tell you today, weep not. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged to take what seems to be challenging today.

Weep not, for he who led us into planting is ready to take us into multiple harvests.

Therefore let us come together and support the already laid down foundation that will lead us to the land of eldorados where we shall say without any equivocation: Indeed we have a country.
