2027:Nnewi -South APC okays Tinubu for second term, Celebrates the Appointment Of Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu

The All Progressives Congress in the Nnewi- South has declared its support for President Bola Tinubu’s second term' ,celebrate the  appointment  one of  their member, Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu, into the Governing Council of Federal College of Education, Akoka, Lagos, by the President

At a stakeholders’ meeting of the APC Nnewi- South held  recently, the party leadership endorsed Tinubu’s re-election, promising that they would deliver the zone  to him in 2027.

In a statement signed by Mr. Simon Vincent ( Odinga) Publicity Secretary, Nnewi South Chapter, the APC said, “We congratulate Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu on this well-deserved recognition of her exceptional services and contributions to the nation. Her appointment is a testament to her capacity, dedication, and selfless service to humanity”.

“As a former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly and a prominent stakeholder in Nnewi South, Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu has consistently demonstrated her commitment to the development of our nation and our party. We are proud to have her as a member of our party and celebrate her achievement.”

The celebrand and Former Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Rita Maduagwu moved the motion for Tinubu’s endorsement

She  said, “I move, on behalf of the entire APC family of the Nnewi- South Zone stakeholders, a motion of vote of confidence in our dear President Bola Tinubu, for his progressive governance, improving leadership, and unwavering support for the socio-economic development of the South -East  geo-political zone. We unequivocally endorse him as our only preferred candidate for the 2027 elections.”

Speaking further, she emphasised that President Tinubu was committed to the development of the Nnewi-South , the entire South East region, and Nigeria generally.

Tinubu grants automatic employment to children of late FCT Head of ServiceGrace Adayilo

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo. He described her death as a painful loss, noting that she was a committed, humble and diligent public servant whose contributions to the Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA would be deeply missed. “On behalf of the FCT Administration and on behalf of Mr President, I want to send our condolences to her family.
