Katsina APC Rally: Governor Radda Unites Stakeholders, Reaffirms Support for Tinubu

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda convened a high-level meeting with APC stakeholders to reinforce party unity, grassroots mobilization, and support for President Tinubu. The meeting highlighted the state's achievements, ongoing e-registration efforts, and plans for community development.

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda convened a crucial meeting with All Progressives Congress ( APC ) stakeholders, emphasizing the need for party unity and grassroots support. The meeting, which included leaders and stakeholders from all 34 Local Government Areas (LGAs), served as a platform to reaffirm Katsina State 's commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC .

Governor Radda underscored the importance of unity and cooperation for effective political leadership and sustainable development, citing Katsina State's consistent support from President Tinubu. He also directed political appointees to intensify grassroots mobilization within their respective polling units, wards, and LGAs.\During the meeting, Governor Radda highlighted the ongoing APC e-registration exercise and urged party leaders to take it seriously, emphasizing its significance for party organization. He led by example, personally participating in the registration process within his ward. 

The Governor also stressed the importance of peaceful coexistence across communities as the foundation for sustainable development. Furthermore, he announced the formation of committees to review party activities, monitor grassroots structures (Yan Tara), and assess projects implemented by state, local, and federal governments. 

Deputy Governor Faruk Lawal presented the Radda administration's achievements over two and a half years, including the implementation of projects across all 34 LGAs and 361 wards. Notable accomplishments included the recruitment of 7,325 teachers, sponsorship of students from rural communities, and the implementation of AGILE education projects. In the agricultural sector, the administration invested nearly ₦70 billion, establishing mechanization centers and distributing fertilizers and farm inputs. Additional achievements encompassed pension and gratuity payments, procurement of streetlights valued at over ₦3.5 billion, and the transition to solar-powered street lighting.

 The administration also reported improvements in security, including over 11 months without major attacks, enhanced road access, the release of repentant bandits, and the strengthening of community security through the Community Watch Corps.\APC State Chairperson Sani JB Daura welcomed the participation of leaders from all LGAs, emphasizing the necessity of cooperation for sustainable development and encouraging active participation in membership registration and grassroots mobilization. 

Chief of Staff Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir elaborated on the committees established to bolster governance and party organization, including those focused on reviewing the Tinubu endorsement event, assessing Yan Tara structures, and verifying projects undertaken by the government at different levels. Nasir further highlighted the progress of the APC e-registration exercise and Governor Radda's backing, which included providing motorcycles to facilitate effective grassroots delivery of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Salisu Mamman, speaking on behalf of the 34 LGA APC stakeholders, reaffirmed their support for Governor Radda and pledged assistance with the e-registration process, including providing routers to ease the process. Former Governor Aminu Bello Masari inaugurated the 34 LG Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ Coordinators, describing the initiative as a platform to enhance grassroots engagement and deliver President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda at the community level. The meeting showcased a concerted effort to strengthen the APC's presence and support in Katsina State, emphasizing unity, effective governance, and community development
