Tinubu’s Reforms Creating Business-Friendly Nigeria — VP Assures NACCIMA Executives
In a strategic engagement aimed at fostering public-private collaboration, the Vice President of Nigeria yesterday received the newly elected executives of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), led by their National President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Addressing the delegation during the courtesy visit, the Vice President reaffirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bold economic policies are being implemented with the long-term interest of Nigerians in mind. He highlighted that the administration has laid the groundwork for a truly enabling environment that supports serious business operations and economic growth.
Citing key reforms already underway, he pointed to the removal of fuel subsidy, the realignment of the country’s multiple exchange rate system, and comprehensive tax reforms as clear examples of the administration’s commitment to economic stabilization and investor confidence.
“These initiatives are not without challenges,” he noted, “but they are necessary to reposition Nigeria for sustained growth and global competitiveness.”
The meeting underscored the government's readiness to partner with the private sector in building a resilient economy, while NACCIMA executives pledged their support for the administration’s economic transformation agenda.
