Tinubu Orders Construction Of 600-Bed Hostels For Abuja Law School, Approves Body Of Benchers Road Project

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the immediate construction of 600-capacity hostels for the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, alongside a major road project linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University.

The directive, conveyed through the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Wike was announced in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, on Tuesday.

Olayinka explained that the projects, to be executed under emergency consideration, include a 300-bed female hostel and a 300-bed male hostel, both aimed at easing accommodation challenges for law students in the capital.

He added that the new road will help decongest traffic around the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), while providing easier access to the Body of Benchers Secretariat and Nile University.
