2027: Mohammed Garba knocks ADC, insists Tinubu, APC will win again
Former Kano State Commissioner for Information, Mohammed Garba has dismissed the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a weak alliance that lacks the vision, structure and discipline to upset the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Garba, who served as the Chief of Staff to the former APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, described the coalition as “A gathering of political drifters without a compass or conviction.”
Speaking with the media in Kano, he stated that “The ADC coalition is a political illusion that exists only on paper,” while adding that most of those claiming to have formed it were still deeply rooted in the PDP.
“They cannot even leave their former party completely, yet they talk about forming a national movement. It’s laughable, ” he added.
Garba, who was also a former National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), remarked that the party has no single elected governor, senator, or major office holder while underscoring its weakness.
Garba lauded the All Progressives Congress (APC) for maintaining stability, unity, and progress under the charge of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the President as “A visionary leader who has shown courage where others showed confusion.”
He added that, “President Tinubu is restoring discipline and direction to governance in Nigeria. Nigerians can already see his reforms are beginning to yield results.”
Ahead to 2027 general elections, Garba expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious over its rivals.
“The 2027 election will be between APC and PDP, but the outcome is already clear — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC will win again! ”
He therefore implored the opposition to stop chasing shadows by “forming alliances that will collapse before they even start.”
