2027: Senator endorses Tinubu’s re-election, urges youths to defend democracy

Ipinsagba, who made his stance known through his associate, Ayejuyo Temitayo, at a public lecture held in Ikare-Akoko, Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State, said Tinubu’s style of governance and reform-driven policies had marked him out as a leader worthy of continuity.Ondo property listings

The lecture, themed, “The Role of Youth in Promoting Democracy and Good Governance in Ondo North Senatorial District of Nigeria”, focused on the need for youths to play active roles in democratic processes.

The Senator described Tinubu as a reform-oriented leader laying the groundwork for economic recovery and national advancement.

“Tinubu touched different areas, he has performed well to be re-elected,” Ipinsagba was quoted as saying.

He further stressed that the President had shown the political will to confront long-standing challenges, insisting that the continuation of his administration would help consolidate current reforms.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Charles Omotayo of the Department of History, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, underscored the significance of youth participation in strengthening democracy.Ondo property listings

Omotayo urged Nigerian youths to engage actively in governance beyond electioneering, noting that their involvement was crucial to promoting accountability, transparency and effective service delivery.

The event, which drew youth leaders from across the Ondo North Senatorial District, also provided a platform to deliberate on the challenges confronting young people in politics and examine ways to expand their participation in good governance.Ondo property listings

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo.
