Insecurity: God saved Tinubu from.Social Media‘Gun Ablazing’ — Shehu Sani

Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has commended President Bola Tinubu for his decision to suspend scheduled foreign trips to personally address the deteriorating security situation in the country.

The civil rights activist noted that the decision was necessary to avoid severe public backlash, describing the potential reaction from Nigerians on social media as “gun ablazing.”

Sani made these remarks in a post on his X handle on Wednesday, reacting to the President’s move to prioritise domestic security challenges over international engagements.

According to the former lawmaker, the choice to stay back and confront the nation’s challenges was the appropriate course of action, given the current mood of the nation.

Sani stated that the President suspending his foreign trips to address the urgent security situation in the country is the right thing to do.

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo.
