2027: APC mobilises heavyweights for key meetings at presidential villa

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that it will hold two important meetings in mid-December 2025.

The National Caucus meeting will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:00 pm, while the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting will hold on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 12:00 pm.

Both meetings will be held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

This information was released in an official notice signed by the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, and published on the party’s website.

The National Caucus, according to Article 11 of the APC Constitution, is made up of top stakeholders of the party. Those expected at the meeting include:

National Chairman and Deputy National Chairmen

National Secretary and other national officers

Past and present Presidents and Vice Presidents who are members of the APC

Former and serving Governors

National and state chairmen

Two Zamfara lawmakers quit APC
2,000 PDP members defect to APC in Kebbi
Party leaders in federal and state assemblies

Other key representatives as listed in the party’s constitution

Members were urged to take note of the meeting date and attend.

The NEC meeting, scheduled for the following day, is another major decision-making body of the APC, as stated under Article 13.1 of the constitution. Expected attendees include:

National officers of the party

State chairmen

Zonal representatives

Members elected during the National Convention

Heads of important party departments

The APC informed all NEC members to take note of the date and attend, in line with Article 12.3 of its constitution.
