2027: Tinubu Re-election Project urges FCT Minister wike to join APC

A political pressure group, TInubu Re- election Project  has urged TInubu Administration Best Performing Minister  Nyesom wike to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Project  National Secretary , Mr Ardo Zubairu made the appeal on Thursday in Abuja, urging wike Loyalists, The NEW Associates and other well meaning Nigerians to support the move for FCT Minister wike to join lthe All Progressives Congress (APC).

Mr Ardo said on several occasions President Tinubu gave open  invitation  for  Wike to join APC.

According to him, President Tinubu  commended the FCT Minister wike  was currently not a member of the APC, FCT Administration for collaborating to deliver the project.

“We have somebody in Nyesom Wike. He’s not a member of our party, not yet. But the day he changes his mind and registers with the progressives, we will welcome him. Because we will join him in singing ‘as e dey pain them, e dey sweet us’,” the President said while inauguration of Arterial Road N16 to Arterial Road N20 and other roads in the Katampe District

Mr Ardo  who thanked President Bola Tinubu for what he called steady support for FCT Minister,, urged the Minister to align with the party at the centre.

He said members were adding their voices “to the patriotic calls on Barr wike  by genuine lovers of the party to join mainstream national politics”

Mr Ardo also praised the transformation currently underway in Abuja under FCT  Minister  wike leadership, describing it as both visible and impactful.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)was hit by a wave of defections of its bigwigs to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Tinubu grants automatic employment to children of late FCT Head of ServiceGrace Adayilo

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo.
