Uzodimma: Renewed hope ambassadors to drive nationwide awareness of Tinubu’s reforms

Hope Uzodimma, governor of Imo, says the national renewed hope ambassadors (NRHA) project has launched a nationwide outreach campaign to educate Nigerians about federal government reforms and opportunities under President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Uzodimma, who is the director general of the NRHA, said the outreach is designed to deepen public understanding of ongoing government interventions and ensure citizens at all levels are informed about opportunities available to them.

On November 25, Tinubu appointed Uzodimma as the renewed hope ambassador ahead of the national rollout of the federal government’s ward development programme.

He added that NRHA teams have been mandated to maintain strong linkages with All Progressives Congress (APC) structures nationwide.

He explained that ambassadors will organise town halls, roadshows, market engagements, visits to faith communities, stakeholder forums, and neighbourhood dialogues to translate federal government initiatives into practical, relatable information for citizens.

“The aim is to foster inclusivity, rebuild trust, and galvanise national support for policies targeted at boosting economic growth, improving security, and enhancing social welfare,” the statement reads.

Uzodimma stressed that the project aligns with Tinubu’s commitment to building a more responsive, people-centred government.

He assured that the outreach would be transparent, collaborative, and impactful, promising that no community would be left behind in the sensitisation effort.

“For the avoidance of doubt, this project has been conceived to strengthen party outreach, grassroots mobilisation, and nationwide public engagement around Federal Government reforms, programmes, and opportunities under the Renewed Hope Agenda,” he said.

Uzodimma said the project will also counter misinformation, facilitate understanding, and improve civic participation through its dual mandate of operational activation and communications clarity.

“As Director General of the NRHA Project, I will oversee implementation nationwide, working with Zonal, State, and Local Governments and Ward Renewed Hope Ambassadors who will serve as the frontline mobilisers, outreach leads, and policy guides in their respective jurisdictions,” he said.
