2027: Ogun APC aspirant backs Tinubu’s re-election with campaign buses

As the preparation for the 2027 general elections hots up, a Gubernatorial Aspirant under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ogun State, Dr Jelili Amusan, at the weekend, donated Nine Campaign Buses to the State Chapter of the “Tinubu National Think-Tank (TNT) ahead of the Campaign for the re-election of President Bola
Tinubu.

According to a statement from his Media Team, Dr Amusan, a former member of the National Assembly, announced this on Sunday at a strategic familiarisation meeting with a high-powered delegation of the Ogun State Chapter of the Tinubu National Think-Tank (TNT)

It stated that Dr Amusan, who is the Patron of the Group led by the State Interim Coordinator, Comrade Olamilekan Sunday Sobowale, to the strategic meeting, assured that the buses would be delivered to the Group on or before the end of February 2026.

According to it, the gesture was Dr. Amusan’s unwavering dedication to President Bola Tinubu (PBAT) and his visible efforts toward ensuring the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly as the nation looks ahead to the 2027 general elections.

It stated that Dr Amusan reaffirmed his total and unshakable support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that the success of PBAT remained a personal priority.

It further added that the donation of the buses was to boost the grassroots mobilisation drive of the group in the state, adding that the vision and objectives of TNT aligned seamlessly with his own progressive ideals, assuring the group of his full backing as their patron.

The statement also added that Dr. Amusan eulogised President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, highlighting landmark achievements recorded within a short period in office.

According to It, “these include durable road construction and rehabilitation projects designed to last over fifty years, the removal of fuel subsidy, freeing up massive resources for national development, the introduction of student loans that have kept millions of Nigerian students in school and drastically reduced dropout rates, stabilization of the money market, the end of perennial ASUU strikes, upward review of the national minimum wage and NYSC allowance, intensified efforts to tackle insecurity and massive investments in the health sector with world-class equipment, among others.

It added that while speaking, the leader of the delegation, Comrade Sobowale, applauded President Tinubu’s administration for its bold reforms and remarkable achievements across key sectors of the economy.

The Governorship hopeful pointed out that the continuation of President Tinubu’s administration beyond 2027, up to 2031, would be of immense benefit to Nigerians, stressing that his support for PBAT is driven purely by the desire for sustained national growth, stability and prosperity.

He noted that the President’s leadership had restored hope, deepened democratic values and repositioned Nigeria on the path of sustainable development.

It stated that the delegation expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Dr. Jelili Kayode Amusan for his generosity, visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to progressive governance, describing his support as a major boost to the organisation’s mission.

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on.
