2027: Tinubu Support Group Strengthens Nationwide Structure
The City Boy Movement has ratified the appointment of State and Diaspora Directors as part of its nationwide consolidation and strategic preparations for the 2027 General Elections.
The approvals, granted by the Director-General of the Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga, take effect from January 1, 2026, and are aimed at strengthening grassroots structures, enhancing internal coordination, boosting youth mobilisation, and promoting disciplined political participation across the federation and in the diaspora.
Announcing the development, Shoga said the appointments followed extensive consultations, harmonisation and internal review processes, reflecting the Movement’s commitment to unity, structure and effective leadership at all levels.
According to him, the newly ratified directors will play a critical role in repositioning the City Boy Movement for greater organisational strength and political relevance ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Movement disclosed that appointments for the remaining states and chapters will be announced in due course as the ongoing consolidation process is concluded.
Members of the City Boy Movement nationwide were urged to extend maximum cooperation and support to the newly appointed directors as the organisation intensifies efforts toward unity, discipline and purposeful political engagement in line with the Renewed Hope agenda.
