Tinubu’s APC strategy committee begins work ahead 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Committee on Strategy, Conflict Resolution and Mobilisation has commenced work ahead of the 2027 general elections.

This was disclosed in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja by Mamman Mohammed, Director General of Press and Media Affairs to the Chairman of the Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.

According to the statement, the Committee held its inaugural meeting in Abuja, where members began mapping out strategies to address lingering internal conflicts and identify potential threats to the party’s cohesion and electoral fortunes.

President Bola Tinubu had, in December 2025, inaugurated the Committee as part of efforts to heal internal divisions within the ruling party and strengthen its preparedness for the 2027 polls.

The Committee is chaired by Governor Buni and comprises key party stakeholders drawn from across the country.

Members include the governors of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Hope Uzodimma (Imo); Hyacinth Alia (Benue); Uba Sani (Kaduna); Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers); Umar Namadi; (Jigawa); Bassey Otu (Cross River); Abiodun Oyebanji (Ekiti); and Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta).

Tinubu grants automatic employment to children of late FCT Head of ServiceGrace Adayilo

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo.
