2027: No political party can stop Tinubu — Support group

The Director-General of BTO4PBAT27, Ogbeni Adesuyi Adojutelegan, on Saturday expressed optimism that no political party or individual would be able to defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Adojutelegan made this assertion during a ward-to-ward mobilisation tour of Ese-Odo and Irele Local Government Areas of Ondo State, maintaining that President Tinubu remains unbeatable ahead of the 2027 presidential polls, as there is no viable alternative to his leadership.

Speaking during the tour, he explained that the exercise, organised by BTO4PBAT27—a political support group operating under the leadership of the Minister of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo—was aimed at strengthening grassroots support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to Adojutelegan, voting for any other candidate in 2027 would amount to taking the country backwards, stressing that President Tinubu’s economic reforms have placed Nigeria on a corrective path.

He said President Tinubu would not only secure re-election but would remain unmatched by any opposition candidate, citing key policies such as fuel subsidy removal, foreign exchange unification, and tax reforms.

He noted that reversing such policies would stall national progress, stating: “You can’t say we should return to the subsidy regime. You can’t say we should go back to a double foreign exchange system.”

The Director-General urged members of the support group to remain united, politically active, and committed to strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of future elections.

He also called on members to formally register with the APC to consolidate the party’s grassroots base in both local governments, emphasising that the ongoing electronic registration exercise made active participation in party affairs necessary.

To further demonstrate commitment to party growth, Adojutelegan announced financial donations of ₦1 million to the APC in Ese-Odo Local Government Area and ₦500,000 to the APC in Irele Local Government Area to support membership registration and other party activities.

He commended BTO4PBAT27 members in both councils, describing them as a solid pillar of support for the Minister of Interior and President Tinubu, adding that their loyalty and grassroots engagement are critical to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

At Igbotu in Ese-Odo Local Government Area, the state committee of the group received a warm reception from party leaders, ward coordinators, and supporters who turned out in large numbers to reaffirm their commitment to the APC.

Speaking at the event, the Ese-Odo Local Government Coordinator of BTO4PBAT27, Mr. Akinyemi Adewale, expressed confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda and assured the leadership of sustained grassroots mobilisation across all wards.

The tour later moved to Irele town, the headquarters of Irele Local Government Area, where the delegation was similarly received by party stakeholders and supporters.

Addressing the gathering, the Irele Local Government Coordinator, Mr. Lebi Temidayo, commended the consistency and dedication of the support group, pledging continued ward-level engagement.

Also speaking, the Publicity Secretary of BTO4PBAT27, Mr. Folajimi Adewumi Gbenga, urged members to go beyond symbolic participation by holding regular ward meetings and completing their APC registration to strengthen the party’s structure at the grassroots.

The ward tour recorded large turnouts in both local governments, with party leaders and supporters expressing optimism that the APC would secure overwhelming victories in Ese-Odo and Irele in future elections.
