Tinubu congratulates Housing Minister, Dangiwa, on birthday

…says minister’s leadership aligns with Renewed Hope housing agend

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, on his birthday.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Dangiwa as a people-oriented leader and accomplished technocrat whose experience in real estate, mortgage financing and housing development spans several decades.

Tinubu noted that the minister previously served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), as well as Secretary to the Katsina State Government.

The President said Dangiwa distinguished himself as a consummate politician with what he called a “Midas touch,” pointing to reforms he championed while leading the nation’s foremost mortgage institution.

According to him, the reforms helped reposition the FMBN on a path of efficiency and profitability, while strengthening its contribution to social housing delivery in the country.

He commended the minister for his resilience and managerial acumen, acknowledging his continued role in driving growth in Nigeria’s housing and mortgage sector in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“As the Minister celebrates his birthday, President Tinubu joins his family, professional colleagues and friends to wish him good health, strength and more years in national service,” the statement added.
