Tinubu support group hails opposition governors’ defection to APC

An APC support group, BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda, on Saturday, congratulated governors from opposition parties who recently defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC),

The group also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what it described as the gains and successes recorded under his Renewed Hope administration.

The Director General of the group, Engr. Daniel Ohiomoba, who disclosed this in Abuja, during a press briefing, applauded the President for what he termed bold and decisive steps taken to restore Nigeria to the path of transformational development and progress across the country.

The group congratulate Governors Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, Peter Mbah of Enugu State, Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, and Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State for joining the APC.

He noted that this wouldn’t have been possible if not for the visible state of growth and development our dear country is currently undergoing under the Renewed Hope leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Ohiomoba said: “Our group, BAT’s 4/4 Renewed Hope Agenda applauds the state of unprecedented growth and development Nigeria is witnessing under the Renewed Hope administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“In less than three years into the administration, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has succeeded in convincing everyone including those from the opposition parties that he’s more than capable and competent to restore the fortunes of this country.

“His administration has left a progressive impact in the lives of the majority of Nigerians across the political spectrum. His laudable achievements so far, permeates every fabric of our national life, including students, youths, women, artisans and other professional sectors.”

He stated that the administration’s achievements cut across various segments of society, including students, youths, women, artisans and professionals, adding that key sectors such as manufacturing, ICT and infrastructure have witnessed significant growth.

He added, “In the area of foreign diplomatic ties, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) through his renewed hope foreign policy thrust, has been consistent in attracting foreign investments into the country and also protecting and projecting the image of the country positively.

“Nigeria is now being more respected globally than before as there is now a more mature, mutual trust existing between Nigeria and many other powerful nations of the world, a clear evidence of this is the recent invitation to the President by the King of England for a state visit.”

Ohiomoba, noted that their defection was as a result of the massive transformational initiatives being embarked upon by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which informed their decision to join forces and collaborate with the Federal Government for political stability and enhanced economic prosperity for the greater good of all Nigerians.

Also speaking, a National Adviser to the group, Otunba James Uduak Udoma, urged state, local government and ward coordinators to ensure maximum cooperation with the APC by mobilising members to participate in the ongoing membership e-registration exercise.

The group concluded by calling on Nigerians across political divides to support the President and his administration to ensure sustained political stability and economic growth nationwide.

Tinubu grants automatic employment to children of late FCT Head of ServiceGrace Adayilo

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo.
