2027: APC’s Dalori Backs Pro-Tinubu Group As Patron
The Deputy National Chairman (North) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, has formally accepted his appointment as Patron of the Queen of City Boys Support Group.
Dalori accepted the role on Wednesday during a ceremony held at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, where he expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of the group for the honour.
“I sincerely thank you for recognising me as Patron of the Queen of City Boys Support Group. I consider this both an honour and a privilege,” he said.
He pledged to work closely with the group to advance its objectives and strengthen its activities within the party structure.
“Beyond accepting this honour, I assure you of my commitment to work with you to achieve our shared goals. Where there are challenges, we will find solutions and provide the necessary support to strengthen your structure,” Dalori stated.
The APC chieftain noted that although several support groups exist within the party, he was impressed by the calibre of individuals associated with the group and expressed confidence that it would make meaningful contributions to the party’s growth.
Earlier, the National Coordinator of the Queen of City Boys Support Group, Ambassador Queen Juliet Uju Obiaeli, described Dalori’s acceptance as a morale booster for members nationwide.
“On behalf of the entire Queen of City Boys Support Group, we are honoured by your acceptance. Identifying and decorating you as one of our patrons is a privilege for us,” she said.
Obiaeli reaffirmed the group’s commitment to promoting the ideals of the APC and supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event concluded with Dalori’s formal decoration as Patron of the support group.
Speaking at the event, the group’s Coordinator for the North-East, Comdr. Naftali K. Duni expressed optimism following his inauguration, stating that the initiative is aimed at mobilising youths across the North-West and North-East in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“I am honoured to have been inaugurated as part of the team saddled with the responsibility of organising youths across the North-West and North-East for this important cause of supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Our objective is to bring young people together and ensure that we build a strong, united front in backing the current administration,” he said.
Duni added that the group intends to collaborate with key stakeholders at the grassroots level to strengthen its mobilisation efforts.
“We are determined to work with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that our plans are effectively implemented from the outset. With the calibre of individuals brought together under this platform, we are confident that our collective efforts will reinforce our commitment to supporting this government and ensuring its return with renewed strength,” he stated.
On his part, Dr. Uko Udo, South-South Coordinator, described the event as a significant milestone in strengthening grassroots mobilisation ahead of the forthcoming elections in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“This is a laudable event that reflects the unity and synergy among our members across genders as we prepare for the forthcoming elections. Our presence here underscores our collective commitment to supporting our amiable President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and ensuring that his leadership continues,” he said.
Udo noted that the gathering symbolises the party’s recognition and endorsement of the group’s activities.
“Our coming together here is symbolic. It demonstrates the acceptance and support of the party, and it sends a clear message to Nigerians that our activities are aligned with its vision. The Renewed Hope agenda is our agenda and our project. We are committed to propagating it and working diligently to make it a reality,” he added.
On his part, Hon. Amodu Kalid Abdulraham, North-Central Zonal Leader of the Queens of the City Girls, described the meeting as a pivotal moment in strengthening mobilisation efforts ahead of the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“The significance of today’s meeting cannot be overstated. What has taken place here is fundamental to reengineering our programmes and activities toward the re-election of the President. Before now, we have been active across the 774 local government areas of the federation, and our presence at the National Secretariat to decorate some of our leaders further demonstrates that the party is solidly behind what this forum is doing nationwide. It is a great privilege that these leaders have accepted to serve as patrons,” he said.
Abdulraham added that the forum was committed to recognising and celebrating effective leadership rather than focusing solely on criticism.
“In our country and across Africa, people often amplify the failures of leaders more than their successes. This forum is determined to identify and appreciate leaders who are performing well and to showcase them to the world. Nigerians are blessed, and as a party, we are fortunate to have quality leaders who are making meaningful contributions to our political landscape,” he stated.
