2027: Why Nigerian workers want Tinubu re-elected – Akporeha

Prince Williams Akporeha, the National President of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), said Nigerian workers want President Bola Ahmed Tinubu re-elected to finish the destiny that has been put on him regarding repositioning Nigeria’s economy for good in the coming 2027 general election.

He disclosed this on Friday in an event in Abuja to rally Nigerian workers.

He stated that President Tinubu’s economic policies, such as fuel subsidy removal and Naira floating, although hurting at first, have started yielding results for the majority of Nigerians.

“I call on all Nigerians who believe in progress, stability, and national development to join this movement for Nigeria to continue on the path of reform, growth, and opportunity,” Akporeha, who doubled as the coordinator of Working People United, said in his remarks.

He added that his call represents the collective voice of workers, artisans, traders, farmers, professionals, transporters, and hardworking citizens who form the backbone of Nigeria’s economy.

Tinubu grants automatic employment to children of late FCT Head of ServiceGrace Adayilo

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo.
