I believe Tinubu emerged president to accomplish something — Actor Ganiu Nafiu

Veteran Yoruba actor Ganiu Nafiu, popularly known as Alapini Osa, has shared his view on the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and what the future may hold for the country.

The actor said the country may require more time under Tinubu’s administration to address its challenges.

He made the remarks during a recent interview with fellow Nollywood actor, Kunle Afod.

Speaking on the programme, Alapini Osa said Nigerians should remain patient and allow Tinubu enough time to implement the plans of his government. According to him, leadership does not happen by chance, and he believes Tinubu became president for a purpose.

The veteran actor explained that the issues facing the country cannot be resolved within a short period, adding that if the country’s problems are to be fully addressed, the president may need more time in office beyond the constitutional limit.

He said his opinion is based on the belief that Tinubu’s emergence as president may be part of a wider plan.

Speaking in Yoruba, he said: “If God did not have a purpose for Nigeria through him, He would not have made him president. 

“I believe he was sent to accomplish something, and he is already working towards it… If all the country’s problems were to be resolved, Tinubu should be allowed to serve a third term.”

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo.
