APC presidential primaries: Tinubu wins Yobe with 253,804 votes

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won the Yobe State APC presidential primary election after scoring 253,804 votes to beat Osifo Stanley who scored zero vote.

Governor Mai Mala Buni who doubles as the collation officer of the presidential primary, announced the results of the election yesterday in Damaturu.

He noted that in the election, Tinubu scored 91.5 per cent of the total number of registered APC members in Yobe State.

Governor Buni described Yobe State as an APC state, and second home to President Tinubu, promising to deliver 100% of the state’s vote to President Tinubu in the general election to return him in 2027.

“At this point, I want to urge all of us to sustain the tempo to mobilize, strategize and ensure total victory for APC from top to bottom”, he urged.

The Governor commended the people for the peaceful conduct of the exercise.
