Nwuche hails Tinubu’s APC ticket, urges Nigerians to renew mandate in 2027

Former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chibudom Nwuche, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on securing the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination for the 2027 general election.

He described it as a “strong vote of confidence” in his leadership and reform agenda.

In a statement Tuesday, Nwuche said the endorsement by about eleven million APC members nationwide reflected “growing national acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda” and the administration’s efforts to reposition the country.

He praised the Tinubu administration’s economic and institutional reforms, saying they demonstrated “courage and strategic leadership” despite prevailing challenges.

“The administration has shown pragmatic economic reforms, infrastructural renewal, and policies aimed at securing long-term prosperity for all Nigerians regardless of tribe or faith,” he said.

Nwuche, who chairs the Board of the South South Development Commission, expressed confidence that Nigerians would “overwhelmingly renew” President Tinubu’s mandate in 2027 to consolidate ongoing reforms.

Reaffirming support from the Orashi region of Rivers State, he said the area stands firmly behind the President’s agenda, adding that nation-building requires “vision, courage, wisdom, patriotism and sacrifice” from both leaders and citizens.

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo.
