Tinubu floors rival in Bauchi APC presidential primary, polls 156,541 votes

President Bola Tinubu has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential primary in Bauchi State, securing 156,541 votes in the exercise conducted across the state.Tinubu defeated his only challenger, Stanley Osifo, who polled 2,650 votes.

The result was announced by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, who served as the state collation officer for the primary election.

Announcing the result, Pate said the exercise was peaceful, orderly and well coordinated, noting that the turnout reflected sustained support for Tinubu among members of the party in the state.

He commended party officials and stakeholders for ensuring a hitch-free process.

Delegates and APC stakeholders from the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State participated in the primary.

The outcome further cements Tinubu’s dominance within the party as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general election.
