… Rallies support for Interior Minister’s initiatives
A support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Grassroots Alliance for BTO, has stressed the need for the sustained support of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to the group, the ongoing reforms being implemented across key sectors of the country are laying the foundation for what it described as a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
While speaking during the official launch of the group in Okeagbe-Akoko, Akoko North West Local Council Area of Ondo State, its leaders, Femi Awe and Oladimeji Adewumi, stated that the reforms require patience and sacrifice.
With the group also canvassing support for the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, it emphasized that Tinubu’s reforms are already creating pathways toward economic stability.
The group expressed confidence that the renewed Hope Agenda of the Tinubu administration will deliver lasting benefits to Nigerians and urged citizens to remain steadfast in their support.
During the event, an APC stalwart in the council, Adetilewa Fafunmilade, commended the initiative, describing it as a timely platform for strengthening grassroots participation in governance and political engagement.
Fadunmilade hailed the organizers for their foresight and dedication, urging members of the group to sustain the momentum and continue mobilizing support for the administration’s policies and programs.
On his part, the Chairman of APC in Akoko North West Local Council, Kehinde Obanla, who was represented by the party’s General Secretary, assured the group of the party leadership’s full support.
Obanla stressed how important it is to engage with local communities to boost democratic participation and urged the alliance leaders to stay focused on their main goal of promoting unity, political awareness, and support for government programs in local areas.
A grassroots mobilizer within the council, Daniel Tunde received a vehicle during the event to enhance his community engagement and mobilization efforts.
