The growing political acceptance of Mustapha Salihu across Adamawa State, particularly within Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone, presents a significant strategic advantage for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the re-election bid of Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

As a former APC National Vice Chairman (North-East) and now the APC senatorial candidate for Adamawa Central, Mustapha Salihu has steadily built a reputation as a grassroots politician with wide acceptance among youths, women, traditional institutions, professionals, and party stakeholders. His recent overwhelming victory in the APC senatorial primary further demonstrated the depth of his political structure and influence across the seven local government areas that make up Adamawa Central. 

Adamawa Central remains one of the most politically strategic zones in the state because of its voting population and its role in determining statewide electoral outcomes. With Salihu's growing popularity and extensive grassroots network, the APC stands a stronger chance of mobilizing voters not only for the senatorial election but also for the presidential contest. His political machinery can serve as a vehicle for voter mobilization, campaign coordination, and grassroots sensitization in support of President Tinubu.

Beyond party loyalty, Salihu has consistently projected himself as a bridge-builder capable of attracting support beyond traditional APC strongholds. His engagement with diverse political stakeholders and community groups has expanded his appeal across ethnic, religious, and political lines. This broad-based acceptance is expected to translate into increased votes for the APC presidential ticket in areas where the party previously struggled to gain substantial support. 

Furthermore, Comrade has remained vocal in his support for President Tinubu administration and has publicly led endorsements for the President's second-term ambition, urging party members to consolidate support for the APC at all levels.This alignment between his political ambition and the presidential project creates a mutually beneficial relationship capable of strengthening the party's electoral performance across Adamawa State.

For President Tinubu, securing the constitutionally required 25 percent of votes in Adamawa State is crucial. The emergence of a politically influential figure like comrade Mustapha Salihu in Adamawa Central provides the APC with a formidable grassroots asset capable of driving voter turnout, expanding the party's reach, and improving its electoral fortunes. 

His acceptance among the people, coupled with his organizational capacity and commitment to party unity, could become one of the defining factors in helping President Tinubu achieve a stronger electoral showing and comfortably secure the required constitutional threshold in Adamawa State during the 2027 presidential election.

President Bola Tinubu has approved automatic employment for the four children of the late Head of the Civil Service of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Dr Grace Adayilo who recently passed on. FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, announced this on Saturday during the funeral service held at the National Ecumenical Centre, Abuja, where top government officials, civil servants, family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to the late Adayilo.
